AFTER DROPPING MY DAUGHTER OFF AND ON MY WAY TO WORK DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AT 55 MPH IN THE FAR RIGHT LANE A SEMI TRUCK PASSED ME ON THE LEFT THROWING OFF A GUST OF WIND AT WHICH POINT THE FORWARD MOUNTING POINT BRACKET ON THE REAR LEFT TIRE CAME LOSES CAUSING AN ALMOST COMPLETE LOSS OF STEERING WHICH CAUSED THE TRUCK TO SWAY IN AND OUT OF THE LANE I WAS DRIVING IN, ALMOST FLIPPING IT OVER, UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO SLOW DOWN AND BRING THE TRUCK TO A COMPLETE STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD COMPLETELY INOPERABLE. AFTER HAVING THE TRUCK TOWED TO THE AUTHORIZED ISUZU SERVICE CENTER THEY DETERMINED THIS WAS PART OF RECALL 10V-436 AND WAS NOT ABLE TO BE REPAIRED. CITING RCDNN-10V436-1257.PDF A LETTER FROM ISUZU TO THE NTSB ISUZU STATES THAT IN EVENT THAT THE TRUCK CANNOT BE REPAIRED THEY WILL PAY THE PRIVATE PARTY PRICE TO THE OWNER, WHEN WHAT THEY TOLD ME IS THAT THEY WILL ONLY PAY FOR WHAT THE COST OF THE REPAIR WOULD HAVE BEEN. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS FORCES THESE VEHICLES BACK ON THE ROAD WHEN RESOLD AS USED LEAVING THE NEW OWNER UNSUSPECTING OF THE DANGER WHEN THEY ARE UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE FACEBOOK PAGE DEDICATED TO THIS ISSUES HAS MANY ARTICLES LINKED OF PEOPLE GETTING SERIOUSLY HURT OR KILLED OVER THIS ISSUE. *TR
