On [XXX], I was operating (bobtail) truck number [XXX] and needed to complete some tasks outside the truck. I set the parking brakes by pulling the yellow valve out. The truck didn’t make the usual loud noise we hear every time we set the brakes. After a couple of minutes of reviewing the documentation I was supposed to drop off at that location, I stepped out of the truck with the key in my pocket and walked away from it. When I was about 100 feet away from the truck, I saw it rolling down on my right side. I went to recover the truck, and the first thing I checked was the yellow valves. Both valves were pulled out. I put the key in the ignition and started the truck. I pressed the yellow valve in, but there was no noise, and the feeling was a bit different. I did press the red valve in and heard that air noise. I pulled back out again and reversed the truck back to where I originally parked it. I notified safety and also requested by text to my supervisor, Shania, that the valves should be checked before any other driver would drive it. So far I haven’t been told what caused the roll away. No one got hurt, no citation, but the area where this incident happened is the entrance and exit of every employee in that building. I was let go from work on July 21,2026. Forward Collision Avoidance
When driving down the road and if there are steel plates on the road the truck will alert and slam the brakes on.
Brakes applied by themselves and come to a complete ABS stop. Happened in traffic. When this happens you have no control. Will not accelerate. Has happened three times. Have to hit lane departure every 15 minutes while driving. Very distractive for driving. Truck has been reported for repair. Truck is leased
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2026 LT and RH vehicles. The auto neutral function may not recognize that the parking brake has been applied, failing to shift the transmission into neutral.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: The transmission remaining in gear may allow the vehicle to move unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the quick release valve on the rear axle, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 9, 2026. Owners will receive another notice once remedy becomes available. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25524. International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2026 LT and 2024-2025 RH trucks. The Hill Start Assist (HSA) exhaust port may become clogged, delaying or preventing the release of the service brakes.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Brakes that are still engaged while driving increase the risk of crash.
Remedy: Dealers will relocate the HSA valve exhaust, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25522.

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2024 International HX, LT, RH and 2024-2025 International HV, MV trucks and 2024 IC Bus CE commercial buses. The steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2021-2024 International HV, HX, LoneStar, LT, MV, eMV, and RH trucks, and IC Bus CE, 2021-2023 IC Bus RE, and 2022-2023 IC Bus TC Commercial Buses. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) indicator light does not remain illuminated when a malfunction exists, and when the vehicle's ignition switch is on, and the vehicle is in motion. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An ABS indicator light that fails to remain illuminated will not alert the driver of an ABS malfunction, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Towing variant vehicles under this campaign will not be repaired under recall 24V-8918. Dealers will update the software, free of charge. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2000-2003 International 8100, 2001-2003 International 9100i, 2001-2007 International 9400i, 2001-2010 International 9200i, 2002-2007, 2009 International 8500, 2003-2007, 2013 International 9900i, 2003-2018 International 8600, 2004, 2007 International 9900iX, 2008-2018 International ProStar, 2010-2011, 2013, 2016 International LoneStar, 2011-2012, 2016 International 4400, 2017-2024 International LT, 2018-2024 International RH, 2019-2021 International LS, 2019-2024 International MV vehicles. The back-up lights offer low visibility when the vehicle is in reverse and bobtail mode. Also, the vehicles have not been equipped with additional unobstructed back-up lights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Low visibility or obstructed back up lights may not alert other drivers that the vehicle is backing up, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the existing rear stop/turn signal lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 06, 2024. Owners may contact Navistar's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 23514.
Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2021-2024 International LT and RH trucks. The engine control module (ECM) may be unresponsive to throttle pedal application, which can cause the vehicle to unexpectedly slow to idle speed on the road.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A vehicle that unexpectedly slows to idle speed on the roadway can increase the risk of a crash.
