THE V BELT PULLEY, WHICH DRIVES THE HYDRAULIC PUMP PROVIDING POWER ASSIST FOR STEERING AND HYDRAULIC BRAKES, CAN FAIL.
Consequence: LOSS OF POWER ASSIST TO THE STEERING AND POWER ASSIST TOHYDRAULIC BRAKES CAN RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.
Remedy: INSTALL DIFFERENT PULLEY AND REINFORCE POWER STEERING PUMP MOUNTING.
