I HAVE A 2017 INFINITI QX60 WITH EVERY POSSIBLE SAFETY ADD-ON. I HAVE A SAFETY CONCERN ABOUT MY NEW VEHICLE. THE LED HEADLIGHTS DO NOT PROJECT VERY FAR IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE, AT ALL. UNLIKE STANDARD HEADLIGHTS THAT HAVE A SPRAY OF LIGHT THAT DIMINISHES THE FARTHER AWAY THEY GO THIS VEHICLE HAS A DEFINITE LINE THAT IT IS COMPLETELY BLACK IN FRONT OF THE LIGHT OF THE HEADLIGHTS. UNLIKE MY OLD MERCEDES, THEY DO NOT ADJUST FOR THE TERRAIN OF THE ROAD. IF YOU ARE GOING DOWNHILL THEY ONLY PROJECT, MAYBE 50 FEET IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THERE IS NO WAY TO ADJUST THESE HEADLIGHTS, AT ALL. EVEN MY 10 YEAR OLD TOYOTA VAN ALLOWS YOU TO ADJUST THE HEADLIGHTS. UNFORTUNATELY IT HAS AUTO HIGH BEAMS SO IF IT DETECTS ANY LIGHT THEY WILL NOT STAY ON WITHOUT CONTINUALLY PULLING BACK ON THE TURN SIGNAL. SO USING THE HIGH BEAMS, WHEN POSSIBLE, IS NOT AN OPTION. I HAVE ASKED THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES TO ADJUST THE HEADLIGHTS BUT THEY SAY THEY ARE WITHIN SPECS. I'M SURE THAT MAY BE THE CASE WHEN THE VEHICLE IS LEVEL, NOT GOING DOWNHILL. THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HEADLIGHTS. (AND THIS IS ONE DEALER.) THE LEFT HEADLIGHT IS ALSO SIGNIFICANTLY CLOSER THAN THE RIGHT ONE CREATING A MAJOR PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PASSENGERS COMMENT, 'WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR HEADLIGHTS?' I FEEL THAT THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION! I HAVE DRIVEN IN DARK RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE BEEN STARTLED BY PEDESTRIANS OR ANIMALS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THAT YOU CANNOT SEE UNTIL YOU ARE RIGHT ON TOP OF THEM. WE HAVE LITERALLY HAD TO CREEP IN A HILLY NEIGHBORHOOD IN PITTSBURGH FOR FEAR OF HITTING A PARKED CAR OR EVEN WORSE A PERSON. I WOULD APPRECIATE THE NTSB LOOKING INTO THIS HAZARDOUS SITUATION AS I HAVE HAD NO SATISFACTION FROM THE DEALER.
