DEAR NHTSA: I BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THIS TIRE : BRIDGESTONE RE 92 225/50VR17. THESE TIRES ARE ORIGINAL TIRES FROM MY VEHICLE: 2000 INFINITI I30I HERE IS MY COMPLIANT: ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO I DISCOVERED BY ACCIDENT THAT ONE OF MY TIRE HAD A TIRE TREAD SEPARATION. BRIDGESTONE WAS AT THE TIME KIND ENOUGH TO REPLACE THAT TIRE FOR FREE. HOWEVER, NOW I FIND OUT THE OTHER 3 TIRES ARE DOING THE SAME THING. I TRIED CALLING THE FIRESTONE/BRIDGESTONE CORPORATION, BUT MANAGER (NAME ROGER FROM PORTLAND. OR) SAID THESE TIRES ARE OUT OF WARRANTY AND THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME. I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THESE TIRES. THESE TIRES WERE NEVER ABUSED IN ANYWAY. THE CAR IS ALWAYS PARK IN THE GARAGE WHEN POSSIBLE. NO ALIGNMENT PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. YES, I KNOW THESE TIRES ARE OUT OF WARRANTY AFTER 5 YEARS, BUT THESE TIRES SHOULDN'T SEPARATE WHEN THERE ARE SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF TREAD LEFT. IN ADDITION, THESE TIRES ARE CONSIDERED HIGH PERFORMANCE TIRES COSTING ABOUT $175 PER TIRE. PLEASE FIND OUT IF OTHER VEHICLES WITH THESE TIRES HAD A BLOWOUT. THANK YOU. SINCERELY, MICHAEL *TR
