18th of August 2026,as I pulled off from a stop sign I shifted to second gear and began hearing a chatter in the lower/bottom of my engine ,approximately 1000ft ahead I stopped at a red-light and looked down to observe oil comming from the lower right side of my engine just under the casing, I immediately shut the motorcycle off and pushed it to the side of the road(no photos taken at time) and called for a trailer to get it home where I removed a sticker cover and reveled a hole in the casing and a very loose/unattached bolt covered in oil and what I deemed the issue. I later with research realized my 2024 power plus 108 engine suffered a flywheel/stator bolt backing out and puncturing the outer case which is a severe mechanical failure that causes sudden engine stalls and oil pressure loss.had this happened at highway speed or the bolt drop and lodge in moving parts or gears this could have been life changing or ending . With more research and time I have found multiple occasions this has happened to other owners of the 2024 indian pursuit motorcycle, just as recently as yesterday a fella experienced the very same problem on a 2024 indian pursuit motorcycle with only 4,600 miles, mine has 7,700 miles.there were and are still no warning lamps, lights etc. I am scheduled to have it at the dealership tomorrow morning for a full look through. I am having to loose time and money from work, pay out of pocket for travel to get my "fairly new" motorcycle 2 hours down the road for a issue beyond my control on a $32,000 motorcycle. It's not fair if the company is not held accountable. People's lifes, money, and wellbeing are at stake...not to mention I had my child on the back.
