1st: Windshield not available to be replaced after crack has formed since 3rd day of purchase. The crack has extended more than half way across and Honda claims that windshield is not available and in back order. I have made multiple claims to my ins to have it replaced as well as to Honda and I am getting nowhere. This poses a safety issue and needs to be rectified immediately. Not having replacement windshield available is zero excuses. 2nd: While steering to either right or left, the axile makes a subtle clicking sound intermittently. I have researched and this seems to be a common issue with this car. Honda claims it is normal which it is not. An accident can occur and is a safety issue to me and others on the road.
Regularly slams the emergency brakes when reversing out of the driveway when there is nothing there to warrant an emergency brake Additionally, it will not release the brakes for several seconds. I feel this could leave me stuck in the middle of the road and vulnerable to getting hit by an oncoming vehicle.
While driving on the highway with no one in front of me, the car unexpectedly slams on the brakes. While driving on the highway with no one in front of me, the car unexpectedly slams on the brakes. This issue consistently happens at a specific part of the highway where there is oncoming traffic and a slight incline. It seems like the sensors may need to be reconfigured. Additionally, when backing out of my driveway, the car struggles with snow or ice. It mistakenly detects an object behind me and automatically applies the brakes. To override this, I have to hold the gas pedal. It also doesn’t handle ice reflections well.
Car makes clicking/knocking noise in front end when turning left or right. Took to dealership and they said it is likely CV joint issue. Part is on back order and awaiting part for replacement. Unclear how safe it is to drive in this condition. Occurred with around 2000 miles on the car.

The automatic emergency braking system that works with the rear cross traffic warning is not functioning correctly. It is available for inspection upon request. The braking system brakes when reversing even when the way is completely clear. Its as if it sees a shadow and hard brakes. The jerking motion feels like you hit another vehicle. The problem was not reproduced when i brought it to the dealership but the service center did acknowledge it's an issue but there isn't any fixes available at this time. There were no indications for this issue prior and the only way to avoid this is to turn this safety feature offf.
A few months after I purchased the car in July, I started hearing a clicking noise when turning from a full stop. In December I was told it was axel issue. It’s not yet been resolved. I’m still driving the car.

When using my HondaLink app to access the vehicle features, (check state of charge, lock or unlock the door, adjust climate, etc.) often the app has issues sending the signal to or communicating with the car, does not respond or is extremely slow to respond. This is a safety issue because in the event I lose my keys or lock my keys in the vehicle, I will be locked out of my vehicle, or in the event of an emergency when I need to access the vehicle quickly, I will be unable to do so. I have contacted Honda about the issue but have yet to have the issue resolved. App sometimes displays "Retrieving Status..." then "Data is Unavailable". Otherwise, the app will not display anything.
When backing out with ZERO obstacles or things in either direction the car will suddenly come to a violent stop. Had to turn off rear safety camera braking system, as it is useless and dangerous.

American Honda Motor Company (Honda) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Honda Prologue and 2024 Acura ZDX vehicles. The rearview camera screen may display a distorted or blank image.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display correctly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed July 7, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in late 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are DO5 and RO6. The information in your report suggests that Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) may have been aware of this issue more than five business days before filing a report with NHTSA. Please be reminded that under Federal law, this agency is to be notified of all safety defect and/or noncompliance decisions within five business days. 49 CFR 573.6 Significant civil penalties can be assessed for this violation.

Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays," 111, "Rear Visibility," and 305, "Electric-Powered Vehicles."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, the loss of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will update the vehicle radio control module software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed April 22, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are TNL and XNK. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning March 4, 2026.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Prologue vehicles. The right front lower control arm may contain a manufacturing defect that can cause it to fracture.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A right front lower control arm fracture can cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the right front lower control arm as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 3, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is PIY.
