When pulling out of the driveway or parking spot and turning sharply to the left or right a clicking sound presumably from the CV joint can be heard. It has not been confirmed by the dealer, the vehicle is in the service department at leadcar honda due to “service high voltage system” and “unable to charge” messages. This message puts the vehicle in limp mode causing an unsafe situation and inability to charge had the potential to leave me stranded in frigid winter temperatures. The vehicle has not been inspected be the dealer because they only have one person certified to work on Prologue. The warning messages popped up on the screen and the warning lamps lit up on the dashboard

Front axels produce loud clicking and popping noises when turning sharper in both the left and right directions. This first started at 2,500 miles and seems to be getting progressively worse. Vehicle now has 3,500 miles on it. Sound is heard in both forward and reverse. Parking collision activates regularly when backing out of the garage. It aggressively stops the vehicle and will not allow it to move even though there is no obstruction. Emergency braking aggressively activated one time for an unknown reason.
After about 6000 miles, there has been a consistent clicking sound when I turn the wheel that I understand is a faulty CT joint.

Honda Prologue with less than 5000 miles has begun experiencing a clicking sound when accelerating from a stop while turning left or right. Issue is consistent and reproducible. No warning lamps. Dealer confirms this is a bad CV axel that needs to be replaced. Parts are on back order from the manufacturer for at least three months. This is a known issue with 2024 Honda Prologue models. An internet search for “Honda Prologue clicking sound while turning” brings up dozens of results with several hundred people exposing the same issue. r/Hondaprologue on Reddit, The Official Honda Prologue Page on Facebook, [XXX] Internet forum, and several others all report the same issue with the same responses from dealers. It’s been mixed whether or not it’s safe to drive on but typically a bad CV axel requires an immediate repair to ensure safety, as the component could fail at excessive speeds on the freeway. When turning the wheel hard left or right there is a popping or clicking sound coming from the front end of the vehicle. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealer, Terry were able to relegate the issue and confirmed a know issue with the front axel. A replacement has been ordered however the party is on backorder with no resolution date. There are no other symptoms or warning lights. This is a safety issue because I don't know if this will lead to complete failure of the axel and lead to a crash.
Car makes clicking/creaking sound when performing a left or right turn from a full stop. Noticed this issue around 4500 miles. Other reports indicate CV joint issue and that the part is out of order.

American Honda Motor Company (Honda) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Honda Prologue and 2024 Acura ZDX vehicles. The rearview camera screen may display a distorted or blank image.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display correctly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed July 7, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in late 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are DO5 and RO6. The information in your report suggests that Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) may have been aware of this issue more than five business days before filing a report with NHTSA. Please be reminded that under Federal law, this agency is to be notified of all safety defect and/or noncompliance decisions within five business days. 49 CFR 573.6 Significant civil penalties can be assessed for this violation.

Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays," 111, "Rear Visibility," and 305, "Electric-Powered Vehicles."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, the loss of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will update the vehicle radio control module software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed April 22, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138.
