IllustrationService High Voltage System warning. Have had this come up on my car and I have seen that this is a design issue with the battery cooling system. I am glad that the car did not just shut off while I was driving. Honda/GM need to make this car right. And this issue is happening to everyone. Please help us.

153 reportsCV joints click loudly when turning left or right. Honda knows about the issue. No warning lights appear.
CV joint needs replaced. Hearing clicking noise when making sharp left and right turns. Has been occurring for several weeks now.
Returning home from a 75 mile trip. No warning vehicle displayed "service high voltage system. Lost all heat from HVAC system. No defrost, blew cold air. Display of power usage used was not accurate. Car manual mentioned the vehicle could be disabled if the warning was not seen by a Honda dealer service center.
Drove off the dealer lot with a brand new prologue with 31 miles on the odometer. Taking a left hand turn out of the dealer lot, I immediately hear a clicking/clunking noise coming from the front end. It’s my understanding that this is due to a CV joint in the drivetrain. Honda does not have a solution available.
Front differential is making loud clicking noises when turning right and is failing according to service center but Honda has no remedy for this and they can't assure me that it is safe to drive in this condition.
Complete Electric Failure multiple times now. Been in the shop multiple times.
Loud clicking from the front axle area when making a left turn. Typically happens when making a quicker left turn. Has occurred three times in a ten day period.
Twice the prologue warnings have come on that state “service high voltage system" and "reduced acceleration. There is no AC/HEAT in the vehicle under 35 degrees. Under 6000 miles
Vehicle makes a loud banging noise when turning. Dealer Service Department inspected car and stated the front axles need to be replaced. There are no parts available and the time frame for repair is unknown.

American Honda Motor Company (Honda) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Honda Prologue and 2024 Acura ZDX vehicles. The rearview camera screen may display a distorted or blank image.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display correctly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed July 7, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in late 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are DO5 and RO6. The information in your report suggests that Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) may have been aware of this issue more than five business days before filing a report with NHTSA. Please be reminded that under Federal law, this agency is to be notified of all safety defect and/or noncompliance decisions within five business days. 49 CFR 573.6 Significant civil penalties can be assessed for this violation.

Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays," 111, "Rear Visibility," and 305, "Electric-Powered Vehicles."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, the loss of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will update the vehicle radio control module software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed April 22, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A right front lower control arm fracture can cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
