The contact owns a 2019 Honda Fit. The contact stated while driving at approximately 55 MPH, the "Lane Departure" warning light illuminated, and the vehicle independently steered to the left. The contact used force to jerk the steering wheel to the right. The contact stated that the Lane Departure warning light turned off once the vehicle was in a lane. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle stalled intermittently. The contact stated that she had been left several times stranded on the road and required Roadside Assistance. The contact stated that Roadside Assistance was able to jumpstart the vehicle. The contact stated that she had the battery replaced three times. The contact stated that the failure was ongoing. Additionally, the Forward Collision Avoidance system activated erroneously. The contact stated that the brake warning would illuminate, and the vehicle would slow down independently with no vehicle or object in front of the vehicle. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where the dealer reset the warning lights on the instrument cluster. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The check engine and power steering assist warning lights were illuminated. On other occasions, while driving at approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle veered into another lane. The contact pulled over to the side of the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed but was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 12,000.

LASTLY, THE CAR STARTED TO BRAKE QUICKLY. LUCKILY, I SOFTLY HIT THE BRAKES AND IT OVERRODE THE SENSOR. IT FELT LIKE IT WAS STARTING TO DO A FULL STOP ON THE HIGHWAY WITH CARS BEHIND ME. THIS HAS HAPPENED A SECOND TIME AT 45 MPH. NOW I HAVE TO TURN OFF THE SENSORS EVERY TIME. I WORRY IT WILL GLITCH AGAIN OR TURN ON AND BRAKE AT A FULL STOP WITHOUT MY CONTROL. THE TURNING SENSORS ALSO ARE MALFUNCTIONING ESPECIALLY AT TURNS.
