July 3 2026 multiple error codes vehicle assistant, brakes, steering wheel, vehicle stability. Vehicle was stuck in Park. Unable to put in reverse drive or neutral was stranded for 30 plus minutes before vehicle would shift out of park. Vehicle towed to dealership by tow truck driver who witness codes Vehicle stayed over night was not looked at until the next day and Honda dealer stated no error on their end I submitted photos fir referenceand evidence. August 1 driving vehicle dashboard went black was able to pull over turn vehicle off then dashboard return drived up to dealer on Monday was told the vehicle would have to stay over night but because the dashboard was on at the time probably will not get an error code. Vehicle has been feeling like it wants to stop while driving since July 3rd. Since August 1st Vehicle has been making this on and off humming noise from the AC and Heater. August 27th took a video of the constant humming . Filed a case with Honda manufacturer I was told that if they can't produce the errors then I would have to keep the car and nothing they can do about it. That seems a little more like willfully putting a human life in harms way with safety issues. September 7th Vehicle is at Honda to see about the humming noise and the feeling of shutting off.

The vehicle was purchased Aug 7th and since delivery date the car has been having issues. The primary issue is the infotainment system, the monitor sometimes disconnects from apple CarPlay abruptly. During the use of this feature the navigation system will also disconnect making it unsafe when using navigation. The vehicle has a persistent problem with squeaking and tapping noise coming from the engine Bay Area. When going over and bumps or uneven surfaces the car rattles. The vehicle also has worse mpg than advertised. Currently getting 22.4mpg with ECON active.

I am writing to formally request that Honda investigate and acknowledge a significant security and safety concern regarding the front radar module used on certain Honda vehicles equipped with Honda Sensing. The front radar module appears to be easily accessible from the front of the vehicle and can reportedly be removed by a thief in a matter of seconds without requiring specialized tools. Because of its location and lack of adequate theft protection, it has become an attractive target for theft. The theft of this component is more than a financial inconvenience. Once the radar module is removed, critical driver-assistance and safety features—including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning, and other Honda Sensing functions—may become unavailable until the sensor is replaced and professionally calibrated. This can leave owners without important safety technologies they relied upon when purchasing the vehicle. I respectfully ask Honda to investigate this issue, acknowledge the vulnerability, and consider implementing a remedy for affected vehicles. Possible solutions could include an improved anti-theft mounting system, a redesigned sensor location, or other security enhancements that make unauthorized removal significantly more difficult. As Honda owners, we should be able to feel confident leaving our vehicles parked without worrying that a critical safety component can be stolen in seconds. Beyond the financial burden of replacing the radar module, the loss of these safety features can affect the safe operation of the vehicle and diminish driver confidence. I urge Honda to take this concern seriously, communicate with affected owners, and evaluate whether a service campaign or safety recall is appropriate. At a minimum, I hope Honda will acknowledge the issue and work toward a solution that improves the security of the front radar module and restores owners' confidence in the safety of their vehicl

Vehicle Information: 2026 Honda CR-V Sport HybridComponent: Power Train / Hydraulic Brakes / Electronic Stability ControlDescription of Incident:On [Date], my 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid was parked facing uphill on a steep incline. I started the vehicle, depressed the brake pedal, released the electronic parking brake, and shifted into Drive. Upon transitioning to the accelerator, the vehicle failed to hold its position. It immediately and rapidly rolled backward down the incline, completely overriding the Hill Start Assist (HSA) mechanism. Despite accelerator input, the hybrid powertrain failed to deliver the instantaneous forward torque required to counter gravity. The vehicle gained rearward momentum and collided with a closed gate.Safety Justification:This un-commanded rollback presents a severe, systemic safety hazard. Research into hybrid consumer data reveals a documented pattern of drivers being blindsided by the lack of traditional automatic transmission "idle-creep" torque on inclines, combined with counter-intuitive electronic HSA deactivation thresholds. The vehicle’s software logic fails to safely manage dual-pedal inputs during hill starts, creating an unreasonable risk of rollback collisions.

Driving in the rain on the interstate and during acceleration, engine just lost all power. Recovered within 2-4 minutes. After 1 hour of driving, it repeated again. Hard rain conditions. Engine lost all power and wanted to die. I had my family with me and the first incident was merging onto [XXX] with a semi truck quickly closing onto me. Fortunately, he saw I was having issues and slowed down and gave me room. Then when it happened again, pouring rain, night time conditions and the dash lights were flickering and engine was just bogging down during any acceleration. Nursed it to a well lit gas station. Turned off and when re-started- no further issues but drove with the CEL on for well over an hour. Took to Jefferies Honda in Roseville, Michigan where they charged me $200 just to diagnose the issue, even though the vehicle is still under warranty. Provided a printout of the "results" from the computer but it only is of the "Live Data"- not the recorded data. Not only that but I suspect they never really checked as the mileage listed on that page does not match the mileage on their report. I suspect my vehicle is about to come out of warrenty so easy to state "no faults found" even though we almost caused multiple accidents every time the engine was failing on the interstate. Check-engine lamp flashed and went off and then eventually came on solid for well over an hour so I know data exists but I suspect Jeffries deleted it when they stated "no faults found"- impossible. My wife and I were in the car and know what we experienced. HUGE safety concern and now I don't trust Honda. They did not diagnose nor fix anything. Only charged me and sent me on my way. Explained when I complained that their service people may have made a mistake "with the mileage" section. I suspect they took my car out for a spin. I have the print out- why have a "Mileage In/Out" section if they won't use? Doesn't add up. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I am filing a safety complaint regarding my new Honda CR-V which is 6 months old. Water seeped into my parked and closed vehicle, and after that I experienced multiple hazard warning lights on the dashboard while driving on XX, which caused panic and concern for safety. The next day, the vehicle became unresponsive and the battery went dead. This was alarming because the warning lights appeared during highway driving, where a sudden electrical or system failure could create a crash risk. The vehicle had been parked and closed when the water intrusion occurred, so I am concerned there may be a defect related to water sealing, electrical systems, or battery failure. The dealer confirmed that the seal was broken and might have been a manufacturing defect. This caused water seepage. But they were not sure if the water seepage was related to battery giving electrical warnings and going dead. This uncertainty caused more insecurity as we do not know the reason for battery failure exactly when water leaked into the vehicle. Please investigate whether this issue is related to a safety defect. I request that this complaint be reviewed for any pattern involving water intrusion, dashboard warnings, electrical failure, or battery drain in this model. Vehicle information: Year: 2026 Make: Honda Model: CR-V VIN: [XXX] Mileage: 3166 mi Date of incident: 05-24-2026 Location of incident: [XXX] Additional details: Water seeped into the vehicle while it was parked and closed. Dashboard hazard lights illuminated while driving on I-95. The next day, the vehicle was unresponsive and the battery was dead. I have photos/videos/repair records. The warning lights were flashing hazard icons and system warning lights. The vehicle lost power and had to be towed to Dealership on Tuesday, 05-26. The trunk would not open when touching button for it to open. Took out the key fob and it also would not respond. Used the door release from dash and still would not open. Cancel the control unit then tried again and key fob worked that time. I went to dealer and it was reset, and this all happened after the reset. Car was inspected on May 6 at Ed Napleton Honda St. Peters. Miles 8766. Car purchased at 6500 miles. Recall SRS Software was performed.
