The condensor, compressor & evapoartor core all broke down This is dangerous as this is our family vehicle and we have no A/C in the hot summer The dealer inspected the vehicle and confirmed the issue. They will only fix the first two (condensor & compressor) under warranty. They say Honda won't fix the evaporator core even though this one breaking is almost certainly a result of the condesor & compressor breaking. We believe this should also be covered under warranty. There was no warning of the issue The evaporator core costs $2k to repair and Honda refuses to help, even though the dealer let us know that this part breaking was almost certainly caused by the parts under warranty breaking down. We asked for second oppinions with other mechanics who told us the same thing.

The NH-788P White Orchid Pearl Paint that was given an extended warranty due to a "paint peeling problem" on the Fit and HR-V models is now affecting Civics. I currently own a 2017 Civic Hatchback with the same paint, from the same country of manufacturing origin, within the same time frame, and was never given an extension warranty and currently am being denied help. The worst paint peeling, under the trunk, is actually protected from weather ... this is easily a defect that originated from Honda. Honda is denying any responsibility at the moment, refuses to help me via phone calls or email defaulting to the response of "Your car isn't under warranty." even though they have acknowledged issues and provided coverage for different models AND Canada covers my situation unlike the USA: [XXX] Had I know about this defect with my car with an official statement from Honda, it would have impacted my choices back in 2020 and 2021. I would of sold it around 2021 or contacted Honda earlier to settle these issues that would of happened under the extended warranty if I was given one. Honda's constant inaction once again damages consumers everywhere where the repair for paint is roughly 60% of the value of the car itself ... The has been a recall regarding AC, which I have fixed. Months later and it’s not working again. I’ve also had steering issues. Don’t know what it is exactly, but I’ve drove this car for daily commute the past 2 and half years and all of a sudden feel the need to grip my steering wheel because I don’t have full control of it like I used to

The paint on my Honda Civic 2017 began peeling off the back window of my vehicle starting in 2022. I've since then paid to have it repaired, but now peeling is starting to occur on other places of the vehicle, such as the front hood, the fender, and the bumper. Honda has already admitted that a manufacturing issue involving the paint on the back window has been reported. This peeling problem is becoming too expensive to handle and Honda will not extend the paint warranty beyond the 3-year time frame. This is a serious issue as having too much of the car body exposed with lead to rusting.

AC system is manufactured poorly and fails on me, starts blowing hot air, every single summer for the past 3+ years i have bought the car from a honda dealer. When i have to drive to my job to afford to buy food and an apartment the hot air makes me light headed and impairs my ability to focus clearly on driving. The problem has been reproduced by countless other civic owners within a set manufactured model years. Yes it has been inspected by a Honda dealership. No, never any warning, messages, or alerts before or during the AC failure. Also no warnings of the faulty AC system when i purchased the car from a certified Honda Dealer.

This car has an air conditioning issue. Last year the air conditioning stopped working. took it to the honda dealership and they found an issue with the condenser and seals. they fixed it free of charge due to the extended warranty honda put out. not even a full year later the air conditioning stopped working again. took it back to the honda dealership and turns out it's the evaporator. it's not covered by the extended warranty. they quoted me $3,000 to repair it. honda knows the a/c parts are bad. they dont want to cover it.

Other crucial A/C components, such as the condenser and compressor, are covered by an extended 10-year warranty. However, the evaporator, is not. AC unit leaking Freon right into the drivers face. . Making it extremely dangerous and hazardous to operate the vehicle Many articles about this please help? Honda USA is not helping fix and wants to do outrageous changes to get it fix. It is unfair for Honda to leave the most expensive and labor intensive part of this repair to the customer. My deal quoted me $2672 for this repair.
