The coming owns a 2021 Honda CB300R Motorcycle. The contact stated while riding approximately 45 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine. The motorcycle was taken to the local dealer who indicated that the failure might be due to an engine timing chain failure. No further information was provided. The contact was advised not to operate the motorcycle. The motorcycle was then towed to a second dealer. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 3,500.
