2017 Honda Accord

There is a VERY loud noise, static-like noise that is coming from my speakers. It won't stop if I turn the stereo off. When the temperature is high from either the outside weather or the heater, it seems to happen then. It now does it all the time if I've been driving for about 20mins. Everything is stock in my car and not modified. There are no warning lights, I have not taken it in to have it looked at yet. I've read that others have had the exact same issue with this model.

2017 Honda Accord first noticed a tachometer that at town/hwy speeds would fluctuate a few rpm (surge and reduce) going down the road. Took to Honda dealer and they stated flushing the transmission fluid and to do so every 30K and have continued to do so, the surge and reduce subsided but, we also notice a loud cold start tic in the engine. After starting up cold, and engaging in drive the vehicle jerks and feels to stall suddenly causing forward motion of driver to the extent that the seat belt locks until the engine is normal temperature. This is a major problem in traffic with other vehicles around for your car to suddenly jerk back and may even cause rear end accidents from other vehicles behind putting driver and surrounding vehicles/drivers at risk for an accident. This tic and jerking in this 2017 Honda Accord V6 EX-L started at around 120K miles and has continued to tic and jerk until the engine is a normal temperature Tac surge/reduce has not been as prevalent with transmission fluid flushing. When vehicle is up to full temp the tic and jerking subside until normal temp the jerking/stalling continues at any rate of speed. There have been no warning lamps or messages since the onset of this problem. This 2017 Accord currently has 150K

The car makes loud static noise that is distracting. The noise is sudden and does not go away by lowering the volume. This has bee a common safety hazard reported by many Honda Accord 9th generation owners. American Honda refuses to recall vehicles to solve this problem. Apparently, it is common knowledge that the audio/navigation head unit is the reson for this loud random static noise.

While driving on the highway with my family on Tuesday, [XXX] the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) failed and created a dangerous and hazardous situation for my family and others on the road. The D3 warning light and check engine light appeared and simultaneously the vehicle shifted to a lower gear. The vehicle was only operable at a lower speed and gear. We called the nearest Honda dealership for guidance, and they advised us to proceed slowly to the dealership. We drove the very stressful distance with our hazard lights on the entire way while we drove at a lower rate of speed on the highway. This slow rate of speed also posed a hazard as well. The vehicle was serviced and inspected by the Manchester Honda in Manchester, CT, and they determined that a transmission replacement was necessary due to an internal failure of Transmission ASSY causing drivability concern. Even, I already turned off audio. loud static noise still persisted. It will distract driver's attention. The failure was intermittent. I have sent my car to deal but they said they couldn't find the root cause. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that there was no recall on the VIN for the issue.
