I am reporting a fuel pump module failure that has caused several drivability and safety concerns with my vehicle. Prior to the failure, the vehicle experienced intermittent difficulty starting, extended cranking before the engine would start, and occasional hesitation during acceleration. At times, the engine would lose power unexpectedly while driving, causing reduced performance and creating a potential safety hazard in traffic. The vehicle also experienced rough idling, sputtering, and instances where the engine stalled without warning. In some situations, the vehicle failed to start altogether despite having sufficient fuel in the tank. These symptoms became progressively worse over time and are consistent with a failing fuel pump module. Due to these issues, the vehicle became unreliable for daily transportation and posed a risk of sudden loss of power while operating on public roads. I am requesting that this failure be covered under the applicable fuel pump recall and that any related repairs and expenses be reimbursed or covered accordingly.

Went out driving with my family, and next thing I know. I have a check engine light active, after having three diagnostic tests ran my vehicle, it was determined that it was my low pressure fuel pump is going bad. And now being notified that the high pressure fuel pump is needing a replacement. I have noticed there was a recall between the years of 2013-2017 Honda Accords. I have a 2016 with the same problems as the recall. My vehicle just barely broke fifty thousand miles.

vsa modulator in the honda accords go bad, SPECIALLY the 2013-2017 Model Years. There are so many bulltins etc on the internet if you look it up youd see ,millions of people are having the same issue. This affets braking & traction. Traction control is no longer useable and the ABS System does not work since this is all apart of the ABS system. search honda accord vsa modulator recall 2016 honda accord you will see tons and tons of complains about the same part. Honda knows and it seems as if they dont want to recall this. This is clearly a defect. I am unable to pass safety inspection in my state the last two years due to this issue. There is also none of these VSA modules in the States. ive asked time and time again and they dont have a n ETA. This is a HUGE safety concern as it affects braking and traction control. I also reached out to honda corporate as well as other people who have this issue. this issue has been reported to the NHTSA several times as well. this should NOT be happening. this is affecting millions of people and osmething needs to be done about it.

WHILE PARKING IN A RESIDENTIAL PARKING LOT AT VERY LOW SPEEDS, THE CAR SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AND BRAKING DID NOT STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE STOPPED ONLY BECAUSE IT HIT ANOTHER PARKED CAR. PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT, BOTH A AAA REPAIR SHOP AND A HONDA DEALERSHIP EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AFTER THE OWNER COMPLAINED ABOUT TWO PREVIOUS SUDDEN ACCELERATION INCIDENTS. THE AAA SHOP DROVE THE VEHICLE, FOUND NOTHING WRONG, AND TOWED THE CAR TO A HONDA DEALERSHIP. THE HONDA DEALERSHIP RAN DIAGNOSTICS AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. THE FIRST SUDDEN ACCELERATION INCIDENT OCCURRED IN THE SAME RESIDENTIAL PARKING LOT AS THE THIRD SUDDEN ACCELERATION INCIDENT, BUT BRAKING STOPPED THE CAR THE FIRST TIME. THE SECOND SUDDEN ACCELERATION INCIDENT HAPPENED AT A STOPLIGHT, AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL PUSH CAUSED AN UNUSUAL SURGE IN SPEED, BUT BRAKING STOPPED THE CAR. THE THIRD INCIDENT OF SUDDEN ACCELERATION WAS NOT STOPPED BY THE APPLICATION OF THE BRAKES, RATHER BY CRASHING INTO ANOTHER PARKED CAR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF A GRASSY MEDIAN.

I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND MY CAR STARTED STALLING A JERKED FORWARD ALMOST CAUSING A COLLISION I PULLED OVER TO A SAFE AREA AND CALLED MY FAMILY MEMBER HE HAD TO DRIVE IT TO ADVANCE AUTO AND THEY DIAGNOSED IT AS A FAULTY FUEL PUMP. I CALLED HONDA AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND GOT THE CAR TOWED TO HONDA WHERE IT WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED AS A FUEL PUMP TO BE REPLACED PER THEM MY CAR HAD NO OTHER ISSUES AS I ALWAYS KEEP UP THE MAINTENANCE ON THE CAR AS I'M STILL PAYING FOR IT. THE ONLY COMPANY THAT HAS THIS PART WAS HONDA SO THEY ORDERED THE PART AND ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE IT. ONCE I RECEIVED MY CAR BACK I NOTICED A STRONG GAS SMELL AND STALLING TO CRANK. I CALLED THEM AND HAD IT TOWED BACK AND THEY SAID IT WAS A GAS LEAK THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE SYSTEM THEY JUST PUT IN. ONCE I RECEIVED THE CALL BACK I NOTICED THE SAME THING BUT THIS TIME THE SCENT WAS SIGNIFICANTLY STRONG CAUSING HEADACHES TO MYSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE I ALSO HAVE A VIDEO OF THE GAS POURING OUT FROM UNDER MY CAR AFTER I HAD JUST FILLED UP THE TANK. I TOLD HONDA THE FIRST TIME MY CONCERNS ABOUT IT BEING FIXED PROPERLY AS I HAVE A GAS WATER HEATER IN MY GARAGE WHERE THE CAR IS KEPT THEY ENSURED ME IT WAS FINE . I STILL HAD RESERVATIONS ABOUT DRIVING THE CAR BEING STRANDED OR IT CATCHING ON FIRE WHEN I RECEIVED IT BACK THE THIRD TIME . I WAS RIGHT BECAUSE WHEN I RECEIVED IT BACK NOT EVEN TWO DAYS LATER THE SMELL PERMEATED MY HOUSE AND GARAGE AND THE CAR WOULD NOT START. I HAD TO CALL THEM AND GET IT TOWED AGAIN. THIS WILL NOW BE THEIR FOURTH ATTEMPT IN FIXING MY CAR. ALL THREE TIMES THEY HAVE GIVEN MY CAR BACK I WAS SO AFRAID OF DRIVING IT I ONLY MOVED THE CAR TO GO TO WORK AND BACK HOME. ACCORDING TO THEM THEY DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TOOL TO APPLY THE FUEL PUMP IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THIS IS WHAT CAUSED THE LEAK. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO AMERICAN HONDA THROUGH EMAIL AND CALLS WITH NO RESPONSE. *TR

MY VEHICLES CRUSE CONTROL, LANE DEPARTURE, COLLISION WARNING AND LANE ASSIST COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING AFTER BEING PARKED (STATIONARY) IN MY DRIVEWAY, VEHICLE HAS ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS WITH FRONT SUSPENSION SINCE NEW AND BECOME UNSTABLE WITH BRAKING HARD IF ANOTHER DRIVER CUT ME OFF HAVING TO APPLY BRAKES OR WHEN APPLYING BRAKES DOWN HILL.. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEAL FOR FRONT SUSPENSION BUT NEVER FIXED AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS UNDER WARRANTY.. THE LATEST ISSUE WITH DRIVER SAFETY SYSTEM IS A MANUFACTURERS FAILURE AS THESE ARE FEATURES SUPPOSEDLY TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS AND SO FOURTH ON PUBLIC ROADS AND HIGHWAYS. MY VEHICLE IS JUST OVER 4 YEARS OLD AND MAINTAINED AND SERVICED TO MANUFACTURES SPECIFICATION. IN RESEARCHING THRU THE WEB I FOUND HONDA OWNERS HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE WITH THEIR VEHICLE. I BELIEVE HONDA SHOULD RECALL AND FIX THESE PROBLEMS ON THEIR VEHICLES COMPUTER / SOFTWARE OR SENSORS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY. PART OF THE WEATHER DOOR WINDOW STRIPPING IS ALSO DETERIORATING.
