TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 HOLIDAY RAMBLER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED FORD RECALL NOTICE NUMBER 05S28 FOR THE VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL IN OCTOBER OF 2007. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PART WOULD POSSIBLY BE AVAILABLE IN APRIL OF 2008. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT THE WAIT TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR IS EXCESSIVE. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE. THE NUMBER OF CYLINDERS WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 55,000.
WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH FRONT PASSENGER TIRE BLEW OUT. THIS CAUSED CONSUMER TO PULL OFF THE ROAD, AND CHANGE THE TIRE. CONSUMER STATED THAT TWO TIRES BLEW OUT WITHIN A TWO MONTH TIME FRAME. GOODYEAR, MARATHON , TIRE SIZE 275/75R/15. *AK
CAMPER STARTED TO SWAY WHILE DRIVING, TIPPED OVER, LATER RECEIVED RECALL FOR PROBLEM. TT PRIOR TO ACCIDENT, CONSUMER HAD WENT TO DEALER DUE TO SWAYING PROBLEMS AND WAS TOLD TO INSTALL EQUALIZING AND SWAY BARS, CONSUMER INSTALLED THESE AND LATER HAD ACCIDENT. *SLC
