ON OUR WAY TO FLORIDA FROM OHIO ON JANUARY 4, 2018 WHILE TRAVELING INTERSTATE 75, AROUND ATLANTA MY WIFE AND I HEARD A SLIGHT HISSING NOISE AND THOUGHT IT MAY HAVE BEEN A COCA COLA CAN THAT GOT A SLOW LEAK IN IT. WHEN WE GOT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF ATLANTA WE STOPPED TO TAKE A BREAK AND MY WIFE SAID, THE FRAMELESS FLUSH MOUNT WINDOW DARK PORTION WAS MISSING. WHEN I SAY A DARK PORTION OF THE WINDOW I AM SAYING IT IS S DUAL PANE WINDOW WITH A DARK GLASS SANDWICHED WITH A CLEAR GLASS. WE BELIEVE THE HISSING SOUND WAS THAT OF THE GAS ESCAPING FROM THE TWO PANES. THAT GLASS COULD HAVE CREATED AN ACCIDENT SINCE IT IS APPROXIMATELY 2FT X3FT IN SIZE. I FEEL THAT THE COMPANY SHOULD REPLACE THIS WINDOW FREE OF CHARGE SINCE IT WAS A SAFETY DEFECT. THE CLEAR GLASS STAYED IN THE WINDOW OPENING UNTIL WE WERE IN THE CAMPGROUND FOR ABOUT THREE DAYS AND THEN JUST FELL OUT. THE CLEAR GLASS HAD JAGGED PARTS OF THE DARK GLASS AROUND THE PERIMETER OF IT. WE PUT THE CLEAR PIECE WHICH WAS NOT BROKEN BACK IN THE OPENING AND TAPED IT WITH GORRILLA TAPE AND ON MARCH 9,2018 WE PROCEEDED TO HEAD BACK TO OHIO. MY MOTORHOME STILL HAS THE CLEAR GLASS TAPED IN THE OPENING. I FEEL THAT THE WINDOW WAS EITHER FAULTY IN THAT THE ADHESIVE THAT HOLDS THE WINDOW TOGETHER AND THE FRAME, OR WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED BY HOLIDAY RAMBLER ONE OR THE OTHER SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE.
