WHILE DRIVING IT IS HARD TO SHIFT GEAR, AND SOMETIMES IS UNABLE TO SHIFT. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MEDIUM DUTY TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) AND AIR OVER HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACTUATION. THE ABS COMPUTER UNIT IS FAULTY WHICH COULD INCREASE BRAKING DISTANCES.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: INCREASED BRAKING DISTANCES CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE ABS COMPUTER CONTROLLER UNIT.
