RV IS KEPT INSIDE A 30X60 BUILDING AND CLEANED OFF AFTER EVERY TRIP. I CHECK THE AIR PRESSURE IN MY TIRES BEFORE I LEAVE TO GO CAMPING AND BEFORE I COME BACK HOME FROM CAMPING. AND I NEVER PULL FASTER THAN 65 MPH. 2 TIMES IN 2 WEEKS HAD BLOWOUTS WITH THESE TIRES WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY COACH. TIRES ARE KEPT CLEAN PROPER AIR PRESSURE AND HAS LESS THAN 4500 MILES ON THEM. BOTH TIMES I WAS TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE. LAST WEEK I WAS TRAVELING AT 64 MPH AND TODAY 55 MPH. THE FIRST BLOWOUT WAS MAY 19, 2016 I-12 NEAR THE NORTHSHORE MALL EXIT THE SECOND BLOWOUT WAS MAY 30, 2016 ON THE I-10 MISSISSIPPI BRIDGE IN BATON ROUGE, LA.

Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain trailers of various models and model years. Click on "All Products Associated With This Recall" for a complete list. The tire certification labels applied to the vehicles may contain inaccurate tire sizing and/or inflation information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An owner or operator could rely on the inaccurate information in inflating the tires which could cause under or over inflation which, in turn, could lead to a tire failure or crash.

Remedy: Heartland will notify owners, and dealers will send a replacement label with the correct information, free of charge. The recall began on September 29, 2015. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-574-266-3988.
