EXCESSIVE HEAT COMMING OFF THE EXHAUST PIPES THAT BURN THE SKIN ON MY CALFS. THIS OCCURS IN A VERY SHORT TIME OF RIDING, USUALLY IN ABOUT TEN MINUTES INTO A RIDE. I HAVE HAD THE DEALER WRAP THE EXHAUST WITH HEAT DEFLECTING WRAP, WHICH HAS NOT HELPED THE PROBLEM. EACH TIME I RIDE, I HAVE HEAT BURNS ON THE BACK OF MY RIGHT LEG. HA…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HARLEY DAVIDSON TRIKE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING HOT. THE PIPE WHERE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS LOCATED CAUSED SECOND DEGREE BURNS TO HIS LEG. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 1,500. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
