The contact owns a 2023 Harley Davidson FLTRT Road Glide. The contact stated that while working on the motorcycle, a friend became aware that the drive belt had separated from the teeth. There were three teeth missing. The teeth had delaminated. The local dealer was contacted and inquired if the motorcycle was ridden on gravel roads. The dealer confirmed there was no warranty coverage on the motorcycle for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.
