ON DUAL REAR WHEELS MANUFACTURED BY CUSTOM AND COMMERICAL WHEELS, THE WELD BETWEEN THE CENTER DISK AND THE RIM MAY CRACK.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: TIRES COULD DEFLATE AND AFFECT VEHICLE CONTROL.

Remedy: REPLACE DUAL REAR WHEELS.

WITHOUT ANY DURABILITY CONSIDERATION.ANALYSIS: THE REPORTED FAILURES INVOLVE AXLE SHAFT FRACTURE, AFTERMARKET DUAL REAR WHEEL WELD FAILURE, AND FASTENER FAILURES.STATUS:GRANVILLE RECALLED 147 VEHICLES BY LETTER DATED 3/26/87.
