TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1997 GOLDRUSH 5TH WHEEL TRAILER, WITH HERCULES TERRA TRAC TIRES, SIZE L215/85/R16-10. THE REPLACEMENT TIRES WERE PURCHASED ON JULY 14, 2007. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60-65 MPH HE HEARD A NOISE AND DROVE ONTO THE EMERGENCY LANE AND OBSERVED THAT THE TREAD WAS SEPARATING FROM THE FRONT TIRE. HE REPLACED TH…

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1997 GOLDRUSH 5TH WHEEL TRAILER, WITH HERCULES TERRA TRAC TIRES, SIZE L215/85/R16-10. THE REPLACEMENT TIRES WERE PURCHASED ON JULY 14, 2007. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60-65 MPH HE HEARD A NOISE AND DROVE ONTO THE EMERGENCY LANE AND OBSERVED THAT THE TREAD WAS SEPARATING FROM THE FRONT TIRE. HE REPLACED THE TIRE WITH A SPARE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON MAY 30, 2010 AND ON JUNE 27, 2010 WHILE DRIVING 60-65 MPH A SECOND MIDDLE TIRE TREAD ALSO SEPARATED. HE ALSO REPLACED THAT TIRE WITH A SPARE. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER WHO WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE UNKNOWN. UPDATED 8/25/10 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED HE WAS REFUNDED HIS MONEY. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED HE WAS SOLD THE WRONG SIZE TIRE. UPDATED 08/27/10
