7 reportsDASHBOARD HAS CRACKED IN MULTIPLE PLACES INCLUDING AROUND THE AIR BAG CAUSING CONCERN FOR SAFETY IF THE VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A CRASH.
THE DASH BOARD IS CRACKED AND RATTLES NEAR THE AIR BAG. THIS IS CONCERNING THAT IF AN ACCIDENT WOULD OCCUR, THE CRACKED DASH COULD CAUSE FURTHER BODILY HARM. THIS DEFECT JUST SHOWED UP UNEXPECTEDLY AND I AM AFRAID WILL CRACK MORE AS TIME GOES ON. I CANNOT RECALL IF IT OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING OR STATIONARY.
CRACKED DASHBOARD. THIS IS THE SECOND GM VEHICLES I'VE OWNED IN WHICH CRACKS APPEAR ON THE DASHBOARD FOR NO APPARENT REASON. MY CONCERN IS IF THE AIR BAG IS DEPLOYED, SMALL SHARDS OF PLASTIC MAY LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY.
DASH IS CRACKED AROUND THE AIR BAG. WORRIED AIR BAG WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. THIS IS A DEFECT WITH SEVERAL GM SUV'S AND TRUCKS. GM WILL NOT FIX
DASHBOARD CRACKED IN SEVERAL PLACES INCLUDING ABOVE STEERING COLUMN AND AROUND PASSENGER AIRBAG IN DASHBOARD. OCCURRED WHEN VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND NOT IN USE.
THE DASHBOARD IS CRACKING ON THE DRIVERS SIDE INSTRUMENT COVER AND RIGHT INTO THE AIR BAG DASH LOCATION. ONLY 43,000 MILES MAINLY GARAGE KEPT AND SUNSHADE INSTALLED WHEN OUT OF COVER.THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON A 2007 SUBURBAN.
