2023 GMC Sierra 2500

The contact owns a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was in reverse(R), the split-screen view of the overhead of the vehicle and the rear of the vehicle were distorted or was not showing an image on the display screen. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent but was a recurring failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that there was no failure of the camera found. The contact stated that the dealer had removed and re-installed the camera. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was informed of the failure.
