I LEFT HOME TO GO TO THE STORE. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY MY SUNROOF EXPLODED. THERE WERE NO CARS OR TRUCK IN FRONT OF ME OR PASSING ME. NOTHING HIT MY TRUCK. IT SOUNDED LIKE A SHOTGUN GOING OFF INSIDE THE TRUCK. THE SUNROOF EXPLODED SENDING GLASS EVERYWHERE. I WAS DRIVING ON A 5 LANE HIGHWAY, IT WAS RAINING, BUT NOT A BAD STORM. THE ROAD WAS STRAIGHT AND IN GOOD CONDITION. IT HAPPENED SO FAST I DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. I PULLED INTO A GAS STATION TO CHECK MY TRUCK. I FOUND GLASS ALL IN THE BED OF THE TRUCK AND MOST OF THE SUNROOF GONE. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER AS THE TRUCK IS UNDER WARRANTY. I WAS TOLD THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE AND SO FAR NO ANSWER IT THEY WILL COVER IT. I HAVE HAD THE TRUCK FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS AND IT IS NEARING THE END OF THE WARRANTY.
SPARE TIRE CRANK CABLE BROKE ALLOWING SPARE TIRE TO FALL OUT FROM UNDER THE TRUCK ON THE INTERSTATE AT 70 MPH. SPARE TIRE SLIDE BACKWARDS UNDER MY 5TH WHEEL CAMPER DAMAGING THE CAMPER AND FLYING OFF INTO THE HIGHWAY MEDIAN.

I OWN A GMC SIERRA WHICH IS 14 MONTHS OLD, PURCHASED IN DUBAI UAE FROM ALGHANDI AUTO. THE LAST SERVICE FOR 40000 KMS WAS DONE ON AUGUST 8TH, 2019 AND NO PROBLEM WAS HIGHLIGHTED EXCEPT THE BATTERY THAT WAS SUBSEQUENTLY CHANGED. ON FRIDAY EARLY MORNING (SEP 27, 2019), WE HAVE ESCAPED A MAJOR ACCIDENT ON SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD ON ACCOUNT OF THE FRONT WHEEL AXLE THAT JUST BROKE/CAME APART WHILE DRIVING, CAUSING THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL TO DETACH FROM THE VEHICLE, SUBSEQUENTLY SKIDDING TO THE RIGHT CAUSING MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE SUSPENSION AND MANY OTHER PARTS IN THE VEHICLE. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED EVEN DEATH OF MY SON WHO WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE. I WOULD APPRECIATE AN IMMEDIATE CALL FROM YOUR OFFICE TO RESOLVE THIS AS I AM NO LONGER INTERESTED IN DRIVING THIS CAR THAT CAN COST ME & MY FAMILY OUR LIVES. THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE IMMEDIATELY AS I WOULD OTHERWISE BE IN THE PROCESS OF SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE AGAINST GMC. *JB
MY 2018 GMC SIERRA SLT'S BREAK PEDAL BECOMES EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO PRESS, AND I CAN HEAR SOMETHING THAT SOUNDS LIKE AIR COMING FROM THE PEDAL. THIS HAPPENS ESPECIALLY AT LOWER SPEEDS.THIS CAUSED ME TO CRASH INTO A CONCRETE WALL AND DAMAGE MY TRUCK. MY TRUCK HAS ONLY 10,000 MILES.

THE SUNROOF IN THE 2018 GMC SIERRA EXPLODED OUTWARD OF THE VEHICLE, DROPPING GLASS SHARDS INTO THE CABIN. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AT ABOUT 15 MPH IN A NEIGHBOORHOOD STREET WITH NO OVERHANGING OBJECTS THAT MAY HAVE CONTACTED THE GLASS. THE WEATHER FORECEAST FOR THE DAY WAS SUNNY WITH A HIGH OF 76 DEGREE FAHRENHEIT. NO EXTERNAL CONTACT WAS MADE TO THE SUNROOF GLASS PRIOIR TO THE INCIDENT. NO INVESTIGATION WAS DESIRED BY BOTH THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP OR GENERAL MOTORS ON THE INCIDENT ITSELF. BOTH HAVE DIRECTED ME TO MAKING AN INSURANCE CLAIM TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION.
