WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT NIGHT, THE HEADLIGHTS AND THE TAIL LIGHTS WENT OUT. DRIVER WAS ABLE TO USE THE DAYTIME RUNNING TO CONTINUE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY A AUTO REPAIRED SHOP. THE LIGHTS WORKED FOR ABOUT ONE WEEK AND THE SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN. OWNER DOES NOT DRIVE VEHICLE AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF THIS REASON. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.
LAST YEAR THE HEADLIGHT ON THE RIGHT SIDE WAS DIM. THE HEADLIGHT ON LEFT SIDE WAS NORMAL THE HEADLIGHTS ARE SCREWED AROUND, WHEN TURNING ON HIGH BEAM, THE LEFT SIDE GOES OFF, AND THE RIGHT SIDE BECOMES TOTALLY BRIGHT. *AK

THE REAR BRAKE DRUMS WERE NOT CORRECTLY MACHINED. AS THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN, LOSS OF WHEEL CLAMP LOAD CAN RESULT FROM THIS CONDITION. ONCE CLAMP LOAD IS LOST, ALL TIRE LOADS ARE DIRECTLY TAKEN BY THE WHEEL STUDS. THIS LOADING CAN CAUSE FATIGUE FAILURE OF THE WHEEL STUDS.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: IF THIS OCCURS, A WHEEL COULD SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE, AND A CRASH COULD OCCUR WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
Remedy: REPLACE REAR BRAKE DRUMS.
