Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Genesis GV60 electric vehicles. The stainless-steel molding at the top of the windshield assembly may detach.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Detached molding can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the windshield molding, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning October 30, 2025. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741. Hyundai's number for this recall is 028G. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain Genesis 2023-2025 G90 and GV60 vehicles. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display may fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The instrument panel display software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 22, 2025. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741. Hyundai's number for this recall is 027G.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuse, as necessary. In addition, dealers will update the ICCU software. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023 Genesis GV60 vehicles. The automatic locking retractor for the front passenger-side seat belt may prohibit the seat belt from fastening and/or extending properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A seat belt that fails to fasten or extend properly may not adequately restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Consequence: An exploding seat belt pretensioner can project metal fragments into the vehicle, strike vehicle occupants, and result in injury.
Remedy: Dealers will secure the seat belt pretensioners with a cap, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 14, 2023. For GV60 owners, Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed April 14, 2023. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available.
