MADE MOTOR HOME TRIP FROM SAN DIEGO TO SANTA BARBARA WHEN I DISCOVERED MELTED RUBBER IN BOTH REAR WHEEL WELLS. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, FOUND THE COACH FRAME WAS RUBBING BOTH REAR INSIDE TIRES AND HAD CUT DEEP GROOVES IN BOTH. I CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS TOLD TO DRIVE SLOWLY AND TAKE COACH BACK TO SAN DIEGO. UPON ARRIVAL CALLED MANUFACTURER AND REPORTED MH UNSAFE TO DRIVE. MANUFACTURER HAD THE COACH TRUCKED TO REPAIR FACILITY. THE COACH FRAME WAS CUT AWAY FROM THE TIRES AND NEW TIRES INSTALLED. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT DUE TO FRAME BEING CUT. SAME TRIP, WHILE IN TRANSIT, THE OVERHEAD STEREO CABINET DOOR WAS PUSHED OPEN BY ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT NOT BEING SECURED AND THE EQUIPMENT FELL IN PASSENGER'S LAP. GLASS FELL OUT OF DOOR AND HIT DASH, CUTTING A HOLE. THE PASSENGER BARELY ESCAPED SERIOUS INJURY. *JB
