MORNING OF 8/24, CHECKED AIR PRESSURE IN ALL TIRES. ALL WERE BETWEEN 78-80PSI. THAT AFTERNOON AROUND 4:00 O'CLOCK P.M. WE HAD A BLOWOUT ON FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. WE WERE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 65-70 MPH. WAS ABLE TO GET OFF OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 40, WE WERE JUST SOUTH OF STATESBORO, NC.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FOREST RIVER FIFTH WHEEL SABRE. THE CONTACT AWOKE WHILE SLEEPING IN THE VEHICLE TO A STRONG BURNING ELECTRICAL SMELL. THE CONTACT COULD NOT INITIALLY FIND THE SOURCE AND OPENED THE RV WINDOW AND THE ROOM FILLED WITH SMOKE. THE CONTACT WENT OUTSIDE AND TURNED THE PROPANE GAS TANK TO THE RV OFF. SHE THEN HEARD A LOUD POPPING SOUND IN THE STORAGE COMPARTMENT RIGHT BY THE RV ENTRANCE. THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM THE WALL OF THE COMPARTMENT. THE CONTACT UNPLUGGED THE RV MAIN ELECTRICAL 50 AMP POWER CORD AS PRECAUTION. THE POPPING NOISE STOPPED. A SECOND STORAGE COMPARTMENT LOCATED DIRECTLY UNDER THE SLEEPING QUARTERS WAS FILLED WITH SMOKE. THE CONTACT CHECKED ALL OF THE WIRES AND SYSTEMS AND FOUND NO SOURCE OF THE SMOKING AND BURNING ISSUE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CALLED YET.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Sabre trailers, models SRF261RK-C, SRF270RL-C and SRF301BH-C. The rotating pin box may come into contact with the 7-way junction box/wiring and cause an electrical short circuit.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An electrical short circuit can increase the risk of a fire or cause unexpected brake failure, which can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will relocate the 7-way and junction box to a location that allows movement when the pin box is pivoting, free of charge. The recall began on October 21, 2019. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 62-1085.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Forest River Sabre trailers. The Federal Placard may incorrectly state that the trailer has 6,000 lb. capacity axles when the trailer actually has 5,200 lb. capacity axles.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: The incorrect label can cause the operator to overload the vehicle, which may lead to a loss of control, increasing the risk of crash.
Remedy: Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will provide replacement placards that indicate the correct axle weight rating, free of charge. The recall began March 8, 2019. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-2100. The Forest River number for this recall is 62-0972.
