After a camping trip through the mountains of Wyoming, I discovered my campers trailer brakes were not working. After a camping trip through the mountains of Wyoming, I discovered my campers trailer brakes were not working. I found the u-bolts that hold the axles to the leaf springs had contacted the frame of the trailer and cut the electric trailer brake wires in half making the trailer brakes inoperable. The leaf springs on this trailer are too weak and don't provide adequate clearance from the frame.
