The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Cascades. The contact stated when opening the slide out, it slammed down and failed to completely close. The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Cascades. The contact stated when opening the slide out, it slammed down and failed to completely close. The contact also stated that when the slide out was opened, the trailer would inadvertently tip. The trailer was taken to an unknown dealer who informed the contact that the failure was a known manufacturer defect. The trailer was not repaired. The manufacture was informed of the failure but did not offer any assistance or remedy. The contact was concerned for his family's safety and had not used the trailer.
