My transit 2022 van has intermittent issues with the climate controls not working. Sometimes it will completely stop working for a day or more, and other times a few hours. This becomes a big issue in the winter when you need to keep the windshield clear of frost on the outside and inside. When looking online I found that I am not the only one having this issue.

Problem: Ongoing failure of 360 degree view, as described in Safety Recall Notice 23S48 / NHTSA Recall 23V598: "rear camera blue or black image when placed in reverse or 360 degree view is selected." First noted around August 2023, but still happening. Vehicle was taken to a dealer for repair, but the same symptom (see 360 degree view in uploaded photo) recurred soon after repair, and has been confirmed by dealer. Dealer now says the symptom (rear camera blue or black image when placed in reverse or 360 degree view) is not covered by the recall notice Vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

We have a fleet of 17 Ford Transit Cargo Vans. The older generation ones didn't give us a problem whatsoever for visibility but the new ones are all breaking. We have a fleet of 17 Ford Transit Cargo Vans. The older generation ones didn't give us a problem whatsoever for visibility but the new ones are all breaking. The sun visor is getting locked and snapping very easily and once broken it is hanging blocking our drivers view even when the sun visor isn't pulled down to be used to block the sun. Each sun visor is a cost of $400 we have purchased new ones to get it repaired thinking it was our drivers fault. However within one month it was broken again.

I have contacted two authorized dealers and none of them are able to fix the issue, saying the parts not avaialble. Dealers that I have contacted are: AutoNation Ford Jacksonville (10720 Phillips Highway Jacksonville, FL 32256 (904) 865-5509) Coggin Ford (9650 Atlantic Boulevard Jacksonville, FL 32225 (904) 893-2735) This is pretty much not drivable now the camera hardly works anytime.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022 Transit vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 22V183. The rearview camera supplied in the Rear Video Camera and Prep Kit may not function when installed by the final stage manufacturer (upfitter), resulting in a blank rearview image.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A camera that does not display a rearview image while reversing can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the audio control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S68. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 16, 2026.

Rollx Vans (Rollx) is recalling certain GMC Yukon, Sierra, Chevrolet Express 2500, Ford Transit, E-250, Toyota Sienna, Sienna Hybrid, Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Town and Country, Voyager, Pacifica, Dodge Grand Caravan, and Ram Promaster vehicles equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. Please refer to Rollx's recall report for specific model year information. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Rollx's customer service at 1-800-956-6668.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Transit Connect, 2019-2020 MKZ, MKX, Edge, Continental, F-150, Nautilus, Fusion, 2019-2023 Ranger, Mustang, 2020-2021 EcoSport, Expedition, Navigator, 2020-2022 Escape, F-250 SD, Corsair, 2020-2023 Aviator, Transit, 2020-2024 Explorer, 2021-2024 Bronco Sport, and 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank image, or the image may remain on the display after the backing event has ended.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview camera that displays a blank image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle. A rearview image that continues to be displayed after the vehicle is shifted out of reverse may distract the driver. Both of these situations can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the rearview camera software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 4, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S72.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Transit vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 22V415. The Instrument Panel Cluster may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Control and Displays."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel that does not illuminate critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco, F-150, 2021-2024 Edge, 2022-2025 Escape, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, 2024 Ranger, Mustang, 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus, 2022-2024 Navigator, and 2023-2024 Corsair vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on June 26, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the final remedy is available on each phase. Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, and update the software and wiring as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 20, 2023 to Lincoln owners. Quality Vans (Quality Vans) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Ford Transit vans equipped with Onan QG 2800i EVAP generators, part number 2.8HGLAA-8303A. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may not be properly secured, which can cause a gas leak.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A gasoline leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2023. Owners may contact Quality Vans customer service at 1-480-464-7007.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F600, and 2023 E-Series vehicles. In addition, certain 2016 E-Series, 2017 and 2019 F-450, 2021 F-350, and 2021 Transit vehicles that received a reprinted label are also included in this recall. The Safety Certification Labels are missing the tire size, rim type, and tire pressure values for both the front and rear axles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 110, "Tire Selection and Rim", and 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Missing tire information could lead to an incorrect tire or rim being installed, or incorrect tire pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

The front passenger seat belt automatic locking retractor (ALR) may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the front passenger seat belt assembly, and replace the assembly as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on September 14, 2021.
