The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic shop and a dealer following near-miss accidents. The manufacturer was not yet notified of the powertrain failure, and the vehicle was not repaired. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO BE DRIVEN HOWEVER, THE NOISE PERSISTED. THE CONTACT MADE MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO REACH THE MANUFACTURER HOWEVER, EACH ATTEMPT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL.
