I NOTICED THE DRIVER SEAT BELT BUCKLE NOT COMPLETELY LATCHING AND BEING ABLE TO YANK THE BELT OUT OF THE BUCKLE. THERE WAS NOTHING STUCK IN THE BUCKLE, IT WAS JUST BROKEN. LOOKING ONLINE, I SAW A 2001 RECALL FOR WHAT LOOKS LIKE THE EXACT SAME BUCKLE, AND MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THESE BUCKLES BREAKING INTERNALLY. THE LOCAL DEALER (CAPITAL FORD IN HILLSBOROUGH) REFUSED TO REPLACE THE BUCKLE FOR FREE. IF THEY MADE THESE BUCKLES LIKE THE STEEL ONES ON AIRPLANES INSTEAD OF WITH CHEAP CRAP PLASTIC, THEY WOULD NEVER BREAK. FORD CHARGES AROUND $75 JUST FOR THE BUCKLE PART, WHICH IS STILL MADE OF CHEAP PLASTIC. I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO DO.
