TOOK CAR IN FOR SAFETY INSPECTION, AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE LOWER ARM CONTROLS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IN ORDER FOR THE CAR TO PASS INSPECTION, THE CAR ONLY HAD 24,244 MILES AND I FOUND OUT ON LINE THAT THERE WAS A RECALL TO REPLACE THEM BUT ACCORDING TO THE FORD REP MY VIN # WAS NOT IN THE RECALL. *TR

I CALLED THEN 48 HOURS AFTER BUYING CAR TO ASK CAN I BRING IT BACK TO REPAIR WHICH THEY QUOTED ME 2000.00 FOR A DIFFERENTIAL ISSUE ON A CAR THAT HAS 17,646 MILES. CALLED FORD RELATIONS THEY SAID IM RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL REPAIR COSTS EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE LISTED AS MANUF. DEFECTS.. SINCE THEY ARE TSB AND NOT "OUTSTANDING RECALLS" THEY CAN'T HELP. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD MUSTANG GT. THE CONTACT HEARD AN UNFAMILIAR NOISE AND THREE OF THE FOUR TIRES BLEW OUT. AFTER A DIAGNOSIS, SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE LOWER BALL JOINTS WERE FAULTY. THE LOWER BALL JOINTS WERE REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED TWO DAYS LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO BE REPAIRED AND SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY SENSOR FAILED.
