I PULLED BOTH FUEL FILTERS AND FOUND THE ON-FRAME FILTER PLUGGED WITH A SCALY, WHITISH-SILVER CRYSTALLINE FILM. I REPLACED BOTH FILTERS, NOW, A FEW THOUSAND MILES ON THE NEW FILTERS, IT IS DOING IT AGAIN AND I AM REPLACING THE FILTERS AGAIN. *TR

OUR 2006 FORD LCF RUNS VERY ROUGH,AND STALLS WHILE MOVING. FORD DEALERSHIP SAID THE FUEL TANK IS DELAMINATING INSIDE, CAUSING THE FUEL INJECTORS TO FAIL. APPARENTLY THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS. WE'VE REPLACED SEVERAL FUEL INJECTORS OVER THAT TIME. THE COST TO FIX THIS (FROM FORD) IS 5,000.00. NEW TANK,FUEL LINES, ALL NEW INJECTORS. IN RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, I FOUND THAT THIS IS BECOMING COMMON FOR THE FORD 2006 FORD LCF. I HAVE VERY GOOD MAINTANANCE RECORDS AND ONLY USE FUEL FROM ONE SOURCE. SINCE 2009 I HAVE SPENT 14,000.00 ON REPAIRING THIS FORD LCF, MOSTLY FUEL ISSUES. *TR
