Roush CleanTech, LLC (Roush) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Roush-modified Ford E-450, F59, F-650 and F-750 vehicles equipped with certain Generation 4 Propane Conversion Kits. The fuel control valve solenoid may short circuit, shutting off the flow of propane to the engine, causing the engine to shut off.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An engine stall while driving increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Roush has notified owners, and dealers will replace the fuel control valve solenoid, free of charge. The recall began on March 22, 2017. Owners may contact Roush customer service at 1-800-597-6874. Roush's number for this recall is VR.
