While driving my 2024 Ford F-150 Lariat PowerBoost at highway speed, the panoramic sunroof glass suddenly shattered without warning. The truck had been parked inside my garage immediately beforehand. Approximately three minutes after leaving the garage, I entered the highway, and about two minutes later there was an extremely loud bang. There was no indication that any object or road debris struck the vehicle before the glass shattered. The interior sunshade was closed at the time, which prevented broken glass and debris from falling into the passenger compartment. After hearing the bang, I noticed significant wind noise and discovered that the panoramic roof glass had shattered. There was no known impact or other event that would explain the sudden failure. I am reporting this because the unexpected shattering of panoramic roof glass while a vehicle is traveling at highway speed presents a potential safety hazard to occupants.

From what I read this is a know issue with ford. My gear would not shift from drive to park. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time it was stuck in neutral. With a flashing light on the shifter
