The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V236000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the brake pedal would extend to the floor while depressed, and the vehicle failed to immediately stop. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the brake master cylinder and brake booster were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was 60,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

The rocker panels have rusted completely out. I've found information online where people have brought it to ford dealerships attention to be told ford knows water leaks into the rocker panels and sits and rots out. My kids have all caught their ankles and cut them horribly. Our back up camera only works once in a great while.

My 2017 Ford Expedition is experiencing the exact same rear backup camera problem as described in recall number 25V315000; however, the recall issued is not wide enough to cover all the affected cars. The recall should be expanded to cover 2017 Expeditions as well.

The back up camera is severely distorted or unavailable completely 95% of the time. It was replaced under an extended warranty and less than a month later began having the exact same issue. Our dog was not seen laying under the car due to not having a back up camera and was run over and died as a result. We have four small children and this is a huge issue and has been happening since we purchased the vehicle.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the vehicle was making an extremely loud roaring sound. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the engine failed to crank over the following day due to the battery being drained. The vehicle was jumpstarted and taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the blower motor had caused the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V648000 (Visibility, Electrical System). The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed that the repairs would be at the owner’s expense and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 121,000.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact felt heat coming from the bottom of the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the blower motor. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the blower motor, and the contact was informed that a faulty blower motor had been installed. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to Jones Ford Casa Grande (2425 E Florence Boulevard Suite A, Casa Grande AZ 85194). The vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that the blower motor wiring harness was burned and needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the damaged part was not included in the recall repair and refused to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired for the most recent failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance and referred the contact to other Ford dealers. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that the instrument panel was either partially illuminated, or the extremely low-lit. The contact stated that occasionally the instrument panel was blank. Additionally, back over prevention camera was occasionally blinking or was inoperable, failing to provide an image as needed. The contact had to pull over and restart the vehicle for the vehicle to return to normal operation. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V315000 (Back Over Prevention). The vehicle was taken to the local dealers, who were unable to determine the cause of the failure. The dealer stated that the failure might have been caused by the rain. The vehicle was taken to another local dealer, Peltier Ford (200 TX-63 Spur, Longview, TX 75601); however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Ford owners will receive letters in phases, beginning January 2026 and June 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S89. Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A brake fluid leak can cause reduced brake function and extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. If the master cylinder is leaking, the brake booster will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S37.
