2019 Ford Escape

My engine had a coolant leak a few years ago (2021) and needed a complete engine replacement since the car would no longer run. Since it was under warranty then it was replaced. However, the engine once again has had a major issue with the engine bearing and needs another full replacement and will no longer run. Many people are struggling with needing to get full engine replacements on Ford Escapes. There are Ford retailers keeping stocks of Ford Escape engines in preparation for these engine replacements, but Ford has refused to offer any assistance for this known issue. Requiring a 2nd full engine replacement at the value of the car itself is absurd. I received a warning message on my car, but when I took it in to have the issue assessed - it was notified as a minor gas cap issue.

Transmission failed. Since the transmission failed, I was stuck at an intersection and could not move forward for several moments. The transmission was inspected and repaired by Aamco transmission services. There were no warnings. The car had been driven only 38,633 miles. Ford will not reimburse for the repairs, but is aware the repairs were completed.

I am reporting a serious transmission failure in my 2019 Ford Escape SEL with only 86,000 miles. The vehicle began exhibiting signs of transmission malfunction, including whining noises and delayed acceleration. Upon inspection, the mechanic found metal shavings in the transmission fluid and reported that the front pump had completely failed. This issue aligns with the widespread problems detailed in the [XXX] et al. v. Ford Motor Company class action lawsuit concerning premature transmission failures in Ford vehicles. The estimated cost to repair my vehicle is nearly $8,700, which is unreasonable for a vehicle with such relatively low mileage. I am concerned about the safety implications of this failure, especially if the vehicle had lost power while driving. I believe this issue is part of a broader, known defect and should be investigated further. Bought 4 new tires from Costco Dec 2023. June 2024 tire rotation showed 5/32 and 6/32. after only 7K miles. Brought tires back to Costco and was told I had to wait to make a warranty claim until they are 2/32! This is forcing me to literally put my family's lives at risk. Finally in June 2025, after ONLY 17,312 miles driven the tires were at 3/32. Filed a warranty claim. Costco did the best they could, but in the end, I now have to buy new tires. I did receive ~$600 for the warranty claim but now have to spend another $432 PLUS an alignment. Total cost for now is $900 + $400 +200 (alignment). Not sure how other people view this, but I think I was completely ripped off. $1500 for new tires? REALLY? Tech stated that Bridgestone knows/knew these tires are/were problematic yet did nothing. These tires NEED TO BE RECALLED, the company investigated for deliberately putting peoples' lives at risk.
