Over the course of the last 3 months I have experienced different problems with the emissions on my truck. It started with replacing the sensor in the tail pipe then that led to loosing power while pulling my 25 foot goose neck trailer. On 7 different occasion I lost power while hooked up to my trailer. It happens with no warning either on hills or on a straight away. Two of the cases almost led to a wreck because semi's were following me to closely and when I lost power I immediately turned on my flashers and they were either able to get around me or lock up their brakes without hitting me. When this happens I have to coast off to the side of the road and restart the truck to get out of the way of traffic. My dealer could not diagnose the issue because the truck didn't throw a code until the 7th time. When it finally happened I was able make it into the dealership before they closed for the evening and they hooked up the laptop to check the code. This led to replacing the whole fuel system because the CP4 injection pump failed and sent metal shavings through the fuel system. Once this was all replaced the check engine light came on again just after leaving the dealership and now the EGR valve needs replaced. I took my truck to the dealership on June 2, 2026 and to this day July 2, 2026 they still have my truck and are trying to remedy the situation. We are hopeful that after replacing the EGR valve that my truck will be finished. I have also learned that Ford has replaced/ recalled certain VIN numbers for the issues I have encountered, however my truck doesn't qualify ???? How do they determine the recall protocol and is this fair to all customers. This truck is vital to my business and I have had to rent a truck from one of my customers during this month long journey to be able to preform my daily activities for my business. The dealer was gracious to give me a car to drive however a car can not pull a 25 foot goose neck trailer

Driving during heavy rain in Texas, vehicle lost power intermittently, causing engine failure, loss of steering, loss of braking, loss of control. This event was apparently due to BCM failure due to moisture getting to the BCM. Upon inspection by a certified Mechanic , BCM and wiring was wet. BCM also had apparent corrosion.11

WHILE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE AT HIWAY SPEED OF 60 MPH, I HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD, THE VEHICLE STARTED VIBERATING VIOLENTLY IN THE FRONT END. THE STEERING WAS NEARLY UN-CONTROLLABLE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY DEALERSHIP WHERE THE ORDERED A PART THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO FIX THE PROBLEM. IT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THERE SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL OF VEHICLE SINCE OTHER TRUCK OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN, AND SHOULD BE PLACED ON A RECALL.

THIS VEHICLE IS USED AS AN AMBULANCE. ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN TWO MAJOR ACCIDENTS, ONCE GOING FORWARD FROM A STATIONARY POSITION THROUGH OUR BUILDING GARAGE DOOR AND THE OTHER WHILE IN REVERSE TRYING TO SLOW DOWN BACKING UP AND GOING THROUGH AN INTERIOR BUILDING WALL. THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDAL ARE LOCATED TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. WHEN THE DRIVER WENT TO APPLY THE BRAKES HIS FOOT PRESSES DOWN ON THE THROTTLE PEDAL AT THE SAME TIME, CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO TAKE OFF. THE MORE BRAKE YOU PUSH THE MORE THROTTLE IS PRESSED. WE ALSO ON TWO OTHER OCCASIONS WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS OUTSIDE HAVE HAD THE DRIVERS WHILE DEPRESSING THE BRAKE IN A STATIONARY POSITION SHIFTING FROM PARK TO DRIVE ALSO PRESS THE GAS CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO GO TO A VERY HIGH RPM AS THEY SHIFTED INTO DRIVE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO LAUNCH FORWARD. EACH INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED INVOLVED DIFFERENT DRIVERS. I PERSONALLY AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FOR THE ASSOCIATION, I MEASURED THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THESE PEDALS AS COMPARED TO OUR OTHER AMBULANCE. THE PEDALS ON THE VEHICLE IN QUESTION IS ALMOST 3/4 OF AN INCH CLOSER THAN OUR F450. THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALER AFTER THE FIRST ACCIDENT AND CHECKED AND NO ISSUE WAS FOUND. ACCIDENTS OCCURRED 1/18/2018 AND 2/7/2019 *DT*JB *BF*JB
