2024 Ford Bronco Sport

My car was parked in my driveway and I parked it up by the driveway door when I came out the next day my car was at the end of the driveway nobody broke in it it was still locked but that was strange then it seemed like every time I'm driving this car it doesn't want to give me power to drive the car I just took it out of town and red lights start popping on inside the dashboard stating something about transmission fluid cooling something I have been to the dealership quite a few times in reference to the car not getting enough power They keep saying nothing wrong with this car but it's something is wrong with this car I've had this car 2 years I've only put $21,000 mi on it each time I put those kind of miles put miles on the car I was driving out of town and each time was scary because the car act like it don't want to go I just came back from Tulsa Oklahoma on the way back home the dashboard was lighting up saying emergency cooling transmission some stuff something is wrong with this car and I keep taking it back to the dealership and they keep telling me it's nothing wrong with this car I'm literally scared to drive this car.

This vehicle was sold to me by Front Royal Ford on August 16, 2025 with an UNDISCLOSED active safety recall. This vehicle recall still shows as active and the car remains in an "unsold" status within the Ford system, since they legally were not permitted to sell me the vehicle. I only discovered this after the car's engine light went off in September 2025, and a dealership in Indiana refused to initially do any work on it, stating it wasn't under warranty. The first repair was on September 25, 2025 and the repair was stated as a loose wire, the second repair to replace an actuator was on December 16, 2025, and it's presently undergoing a third repair for an engine misfire that occured on May 17, 2026. At this point, the repairs all related to the engine qualify for the lemon law and the car was never supposed to be sold with an open safety recall.

January 10, 2026. My battery abruptly stalled. It was charged drove a few feet in the car just stopped. The car was towed, and the battery was deemed faulty and needed replacement. May 10. The engine coolant light came on. The car would turn on and then abruptly stalled. Mid traffic. The car again was towed and it was deemed had a faulty coolant pump. I asked for the fuel injection system to be looked at and they said my card does not have a Vin recall. These two prior issues established the fact that something is wrong with my vehicle and should have been included in the main Ford recall. I would like my VIN number added for the safety of my car and to be able to get the updates necessary for the fuel injection cracks that occur in this year bronco. The dealership is refusing to do this.

The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V467000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). However, the parts required to complete the recall repair are not yet available. The contact has not contacted a dealer. The vehicle has not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of this issue and informed the contact that a remedy is not currently available. The manufacturer further stated that a second notification letter will be issued once the remedy becomes available. The contact stated that the manufacturer has exceeded a reasonable amount of time to provide a remedy for the recall. The contact has not experienced a failure related to this issue.

On March 17, 2026, during an oil change service at Mullinax Ford of Kissimmee, located at 1810 E Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL, I reported several concerns, including a clicking noise, a rough braking noise, and a whiplash-like sensation when engaging Drive. I was also advised that I was nearing the time for a brake fluid flush because the vehicle was around 24,000 miles. On April 15, 2026, I returned to Mullinax Ford for the brake fluid flush. The same concerns were again noted, but I was told the vehicle checked out and that there were no issues with the brakes. I picked up the vehicle after being told it was safe to drive. On my drive home, the vehicle’s brakes locked up on two separate occasions, triggering multiple alarms and creating two near-accident situations. The first time, I nearly struck another vehicle while trying to stop at a traffic light. The second time, I nearly entered moving traffic while trying to stop at a stop sign. I immediately contacted Mullinax Ford. The dealership acknowledged that this was a safety concern, and the vehicle had to be towed back for further repair. This occurred after I was told by management that the vehicle had been personally checked and was safe to drive. Since then, the vehicle continues to have the persistent clicking noise and the whiplash-like engagement feeling, and these symptoms have worsened. I have also reported a separate concern regarding a sunroof leak, but I was advised to call back in a few weeks because the person who handles sunroof repairs was unavailable. We brought it Gary Yeoman’s Palm Bay Ford and they drove the vehicle and feel there might be something wrong with either the brake or transmission.

Driving on [XXX] . I smelled gasoline. My entire car smelled of it. Next I got a notification to service my vehicle soon. I immediately pulled over and called two Ford dealerships. Downers Grove and Naperville. Neither helped. I located I was close to a dealership. I went there. This is where I learned that underneath my car, wires had caught fire. Clonninger Auto Body Shop 511 Jake Alexander Blvd S Salisbury NC 28147 The 2024 Bronco Sport owned by Megan Michaels was presented to our service department with a customer concern of a rattling noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, along with abnormal tire wear on the rear tires. Our Master Technician performed a road test and verified a clunking/rattling noise originating from the left rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was then lifted, and a comprehensive inspection of the rear suspension system was completed. During inspection, it was determined that the left rear lower control arm mounting point at the body has structurally failed. The mounting location where the control arm attaches to the body has separated from the vehicle’s floor structure, allowing the control arm to shift from its proper position into the body cavity where it should normally be securely supported. This condition has caused:  Excessive movement within the rear suspension system  The confirmed clunking/rattling noise  Abnormal rear tire wear due to improper alignment and instability Cause of Failure: The failure is the result of a structural separation of the lower control arm mounting point from the vehicle’s body. This is a failure of the vehicle’s structural floor assembly and is not related to a replaceable suspension component. Required Repair: Due to the extent of the structural damage, the vehicle will require replacement of the complete floor pan assembly in order to restore proper mounting integrity of the suspension system and ensure safe vehicle operation. My 2024 Ford Bronco Sport has had an open unrepaired safety recall (Ford 25S76 / NHTSA 25V467) for about 10 months. The recall states that a fuel injector may crack and create an under-hood fire risk. There is still no repair remedy available. Ford and the dealership have stated that they are trying to develop a solution until June 2026. This effectively means I am being told to continue driving a vehicle with a known fire risk for an unknown extended period of time. For the past 10 months, I have been driving this vehicle in fear. I use it every day to take my children to school, transport my family, and handle family responsibilities. I cannot afford to purchase another vehicle because I invested most of my money into this one. The dealership has not provided me with a clear solution or completed any repair related to this recall. I have also faced nearly $4,000 in mechanical repair costs on a vehicle with about 59,000 miles. I no longer feel safe or confident owning this vehicle. I am concerned that a fire could happen while driving or while parked, putting my family and surrounding property at risk.

The contact rented a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30-35 MPH, the hood flew open, struck and cracked the windshield, completely obstructing the driver's visibility. The contact pulled over to the curb and then into a parking lot. The contact stated that he was disabled, and that the failure was significantly frightening. The contact was shaking for 30 minutes after the failure. The contact stated that the vehicle was a replacement rental vehicle that the car rental company had provided after the initial rental vehicle shuddered and stalled while driving. The vehicle was towed to Enterprise Rental Car. No further information was available. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was unknown.
