WE WENT ON VACATION FOR 15 DAYS AND LEFT OUR VEHICLE IN THE DRIVEWAY. WHEN WE CAME HOME AND DROVE IT THE BRAKES MADE A HORRIBLE NOISE. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE FORD DEALER WHERE THEY HAD BEEN TOTALLY REPLACE 2000 MILES EARLIER AND FOUND OUT THAT THE BRAKE SHOES HAD RUSTED TO THE ROTORS AND WHEN I DROVE THE CAR THEY BROKE LOOSE AND PITTED EACH OTHER. FOR OVER $700 FORD REDID THE BRAKES. I FOUND OUT THAT FORD CHANGED THE BRAKE PAD DESIGN FOR THIS VEHICLE TO INCLUDE IRON IN THEM.....THEREFORE THIS PROBLEM WILL OCCUR WITH ALL FORDS WITH THIS DESIGN CHANGE. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH FORD AND THEY SAID ...."NO WARENTEE ISSUE OR RECALL ISSUE....THEREFORE NOT HELP TO ME.....". THEY EVEN SUGGESTED I WRITE TO YOU. CLEARLY A DESIGN FLAW IN MY ESTIMATION! WHAT DO YOU THINK? HOW MANY FORD VEHICLES NOW HAVE THIS FLAW?
