    79V219000 · Equipment:recreational Vehicle/trailer:lpg Systems:lines And Fittings

    Oct 11, 1979

    ON CERTAIN VEHICLES, A PLASTIC CLIP WHICH SECURED THE GAS SHUT-OFF VALVE LINE LEADING TO THE GAS/ELECTRIC THERMOSTAT FOR THE REFRIGERATOR WAS REMOVED. IN THIS CONDITION, VIBRATIONS COULD CAUSE THE VALVE LINE TO SEPARATE FROM THE THERMOSTAT. THIS CONDITION WOULD ALLOW GAS TO ESCAPE INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE TRAVEL TRAILER.

    Consequence: Not supplied

    Remedy: THE DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, INSTALL THE PLASTIC CLIP WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
