SPARK PLUG BLOWN. THIS HAPPENED IN MOTION ON HWY 87 IN BRIDGE CITY TEXAS. HAD IT TOWED TO MY HOUSE AND WHEN ADDED A NEW SPARK PLUG IT WOULD ONLY GO IN 2 OR 3 THREADS. WORRIED IT MIGHT CATCH ON FIRE. I HAVE 86000 ORIGINAL MILES ON THIS CAR AND THE DEALERSHIP IS TELLING ME THE WARRANTY EXPIRED AFTER 5 YEARS. I THINK THAT IS CRAP. THIS HAPPENED 11/23/15 AND I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX IT. I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCH AND I'M NOT THE ONLY LINCOLN WITH THIS PROBLEM. THEY SHOULD RECALL IT.
ATTEMPTED TO BACK OUT OF DRIVEWAY. CAR FULLY ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN, CAUSING IT TO CROSS STREET AND UP INTO NEIGHBORS YARD. ATTEMPTED TO MOVE GEARSHIFT INTO NEUTRAL,, BUT ACTUALLY MOVED TO "DRIVE", CAUSING CAR TO CROSS BACK INTO STREET AND CRASH INTO A BRICK (BLOCK) WALL. FINALLY TURNED IGNITION OFF. *TR
