TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 EARTHBOUND COPPER MOUNTAIN RV. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SLIDE OUT COMPARTMENT HAD A COMPARTMENT IN WHICH THE CONTACT BELIEVED SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ACCESSIBLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPACE HOUSED THE WHEEL-WELL, BUT COULD BE ACCESSIBLE TO SMALL CHILDREN AND PETS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IF A CHILD OR PET WAS TO ENTER INTO THE SPACE, THEN THEY COULD BE INJURED WHEN THE SLIDE OUT WAS IN MOTION. WHILE DRIVING, THE SLIDE-OUT COMPARTMENT BEGAN TO MOVE ABNORMALLY AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE FRONT CABIN. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING THE SPACE AND THE MANUFACTURER STATED THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 300. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
