Exterior RV retractable awning (model = Latitude) manufactured by Carefree of Colorado and installed by Dynamax Corporation on the Isata 3 models. Several RV owners are reporting that the awning pitch adjustment locking screws are missing on their Isata 3 vehicles. These pitch adjustment screws are "pitch locking" screws, yet neither Dynamax Corporation (responsible production and installation of Carefree Awning installation) nor Carefree https://www.carefreeofcolorado.com/ have addressed this HIGHWAY SAFETY issue! It is not rocket science that an RV manufacturer should consider this EXTERNAL RV component missing part a HIGHWAY SAFETY concern! This was discovered by checking our Isata 3 after reading other owner's posts on a Facebook Owners Group for Dynamax Isata 3.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Ahara, Entrada, 2022-2025 FR3, Georgetown, 2021-2023 Dynamax Isata, 2021-2025 Encore, Mirada, Pursuit, 2025 Sportscoach, V-Cruise, V-Sport, V-Tour, 2023 Sunseeker, and 2024-2025 V-RV motorhomes, equipped with General Electric air conditioners with a soft start device with part number ICM870-16A-BH5400. The air conditioner soft start device may fail and overheat.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An air conditioner soft start device that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the soft start, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 1, 2025. Owners may contact Encore, Mirada, Pursuit and Sportscoach customer service at 1-574-825-8212, Isata customer service at 574-262-3474, Georgetown, FR3, and Sunseeker customer service at 574-206-7600, Ahara and Entrada customer service at 574-264-6664, and V-Cruise, V-RV, V-Sport, and V-Tour customer service at 574-617-6408. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Forest River Cardinal, Wildcat, 2018-2019 Cedar Creek, 2021 Columbus, 2023 Continental Cargo, 2021-2024 Dynamax DX3, Dynamax Dynaquest XL, Dynamax Isata, Forest River IBEX, 2022-2024 Dynamax Europa, Forest River NOBO, 2022-2023 Forest River Sandstorm, Shockwave, Stealth, and 2021-2023 Dynamax Force trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by May 14, 2024. 24V202000 · Electrical System

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Dynamax Isata motorhomes. The nut on the backside of the main 12V disconnect may have been improperly tightened.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A loose nut can cause electrical arcing or overheating, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the 12V disconnect, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 29, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-264-3474. Forest River's number for this recall is 55-1751.
