THE VEHICLE (DIAMO VELUX SCOOTER) HAS: AN UNSAFE WIND PROFILE: THE BIKE IS DANGEROUSLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO EVEN LIGHT WINDS. DANGEROUS BRAKING CHARACTERISTICS: EXTREME PRESSURE IS REQUIRED TO STOP THE BIKE EVEN THOUGH IT ONLY WEIGHS 300 POUNDS. EMERGENCY BRAKING WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS. DANGEROUS SHOCK ABSORBER DESIGN: EVEN SMALL CHANGES IN ROAD SMOOTHNESS WILL CAUSE THE BIKE TO RESPOND IN UNEXPECTED WAYS. BODY COMPARTMENT LATCH: THE REAR EXTERNAL COMPARTMENT IS PRONE TO OPENING WHILE DRIVING CREATING A HAZARD FOR THE DRIVER. THIS IS EXACERBATED BY THE SHOCK ABSORBER PROBLEM. WINDSCREEN: ALL DIAMO VELUX BIKES (ACCORDING TO THE DISTRIBUTOR - LS MOTORSPORTS) HAVE A STAIN ON THE WINDSHIELD CAUSED BY THE WIPER BLADE. THIS IS DISTRACTING TO THE DRIVER. HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS: MOTORCYCLISTS DEPEND ON AGILITY. THIS BIKE IS UNSTABLE IN TURNS AND EXHIBITS A HIGH DEGREE OF INSTABILITY EVEN WHEN CHANGING LANES. UNPREDICTABLE STARTING ACCELERATION: THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ON THE BIKE IS UNPREDICTABLE IN HOW MUCH THROTTLE IS REQUIRED TO START THE BIKE MOVING AT THE CORRECT SPEED. *TR
