ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE WORD "FUEL" IS MISSING FROM THE LABEL FOR THE FUEL TANK SHUT-OFF VALVE. THIS CONSTITUTES A NON-COMPLIANCE TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 123, "MOTORCYCLE CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS". DUE TO THIS OMISSION, THE OPERATOR MAY BE UNABLE TO LOCATE THE SHUT-OFF VALVE TO STOP THE FLOW OF FUEL FROM THE TANK.

Remedy: OWNER WILL BE SENT THE PROPER IDENTIFICATION LABEL. THIS MAY BE INSTALLED BY THE OWNER OR BY THE DEALER, IF PREFERRED.
